Privacy Policy

Summary

PokerGTO Trainer is an educational simulation. We collect the minimum data needed to run the app and improve coaching quality. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

What we collect

• Local-only data: your settings, virtual bankroll, decision history, rank/XP, and cosmetics are stored in your browser's localStorage. Clearing your browser deletes them.
• Account data (if you sign in): email address, display name, password hash (handled by our auth provider), and the same progression data above synchronised to our database so you can use multiple devices.
• Subscription data (if you upgrade): billing identifiers from Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Aggregated usage: anonymised counts of feature usage and error events to debug and improve the product. No individual identifiers attached.

What we don't collect

• Any real-money gambling history, wagering data, or financial accounts.
• Location, contacts, microphone, camera, or device sensors.
• Cross-site tracking identifiers or third-party advertising cookies.
• Sensitive personal data (race, health, biometrics, etc.).

Cookies & local storage

We use localStorage to keep your demo progression and settings between visits. If you sign in, we use a small set of essential cookies for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use your data

• Run the app, persist your progress, and authenticate your account.
• Process subscription payments via Stripe.
• Detect bugs and improve the strategy engine and coaching content.
• Respond to support requests you send us.

Sharing

We share data only with infrastructure providers strictly required to run the service: hosting (Vercel), database & auth (Supabase), payments (Stripe). Each is bound by their own published privacy and security commitments.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing the address below. Deleting your account removes your progression history within 30 days from active systems and from backups within 90 days.

Children

PokerGTO Trainer is intended for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
